Code of conduct Cargèse Summer school “Quantum Frontiers”
Purpose
To ensure that all participants have a clear understanding of the behavior that is expected of them.
Code of Conduct
We are committed to making our summer school an inclusive space for all participants. We will not tolerate disrespectful communication, discrimination, harassment, or bullying in any form. As such, all participants attending our workshops are required to observe this Code of Conduct. We are expecting from all participants to:
- Show consideration and respect in their speech and actions.
- Avoid from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech.
- Be mindful and respectful of your surroundings and fellow participants.
What to Do if You Witness or Experience Conduct that Violates the Code
If you are witness or experience conduct that violates this code, please bring this to the immediate attention of the organizers by e-mail or directly in person. Alternatively, you can contact the coordinators and not the organizers at irllfqcorse2025@sciencesconf.org that will arrange the appropriate response.
Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior
Unacceptable behavior from any participant will not be tolerated. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, the organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including removal from the summer school, without refund. Egregious violations will result in more severe sanctions, including the possibility of reporting to local law enforcement.
